HANOI: The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) successfully concluded its 10th National Congress for the 2024-2029 tenure in Hanoi on October 18. The congress, which spanned three days, centered around the theme “Solidarity – Democracy – Innovation – Creativity – Development” and saw participation from 1,052 delegates. These delegates represented a diverse cross-section of society, including various classes, ethnic groups, religious communities, the armed forces, overseas Vietnamese, and VFF officials from different levels.
According to Vietnam News Agency, this significant gathering aimed to set the strategic direction for the Vietnam Fatherland Front over the next five years. The congress provided a platform for delegates to discuss and formulate policies that align with the VFF’s mission of fostering solidarity among the Vietnamese people. The VFF is considered a crucial component in the political system of Vietnam, acting as a bridge between the government and its citizens.
Throughout the congress, discussio
