Vientiane—At a celebratory gathering in Vientiane, the Vietnamese Business Association in Laos (AVILA) commemorated the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day by acknowledging the pivotal role Vietnamese businesses have played in enhancing the socio-economic landscapes of both Vietnam and Laos, as well as strengthening the bilateral ties between the two nations.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the event not only celebrated two decades of entrepreneurial achievements but also served as a platform for the Ministry of Industry and Commerce alongside the Council of Industry of Commerce of Laos to award certificates of merit. These were given to both groups and individuals who have made significant contributions to the economic upliftment of Laos and fostered the enduring friendship and comprehensive partnership between the neighboring countries.
The ceremony highlighted the critical contributions of these businesses in areas such as trade, investment, and cultural exchanges, which have substantially benefitted both countries’ economic and social development. This recognition underscores the importance of entrepreneurial ventures in building strong cross-border relationships and contributing to regional stability and prosperity.
