Vietnam’s Oldest Bicycle Brand Gears Up for Stock Market Debut.


Hanoi: Vietnam’s iconic bicycle manufacturer, Thong Nhat Ha Noi JSC, is set to make a significant move in the financial market as the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) has approved the listing of its 23.7 million shares on the UpCom bourse. The shares, valued at 237 billion VND (approximately 9.3 million USD), are priced at 10,000 VND each, marking a pivotal moment for the company.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Thong Nhat Ha Noi, which was originally established in 1960 as the Thong Nhat Bicycle Factory, holds a venerable place in Vietnamese history. Known for its high-quality bicycles, the brand became an integral part of the cultural fabric of Vietnam, cherished by generations of Vietnamese citizens. This historical significance and the company’s longstanding reputation for quality have been key factors in its enduring popularity and the anticipation surrounding its stock market debut.
