Bangkok: The Vietrio band, comprising siblings Pae Akkrawat, Pan Kanphat, and Pui Ariya, has expressed deep sorrow following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. The band members, known for their classical music performances, shared their heartfelt condolences alongside the rest of Thailand, acknowledging the Queen Mother’s lifelong commitment to the welfare of the Thai people.
According to Thai News Agency, the siblings fondly recalled their experiences performing in royal service, particularly at a banquet held at Klai Kangwon Palace in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, and Chitralada Royal Villa. These performances were especially significant as they took place in the presence of the Queen Mother herself. The band cherished the Queen Mother’s appreciation for classical music, noting her fondness for “Rak Nai C Major” by Grand Ex, which she often praised as a beautiful song.
The Vietrio band also expressed their determination to continue performing and promoting classical music, a passion shared by the Queen Mother, who studied piano at a prestigious conservatory in Paris, France. The siblings aim to impart their skills and knowledge to the next generation, ensuring that the rich tradition of classical music endures and thrives in the future.
