“View” Kunlavut Vitidsarn, a silver medalist in men’s singles in the Paris Games, and “May” Ratchanok Intanon, two badminton players from the Banthongyod Badminton School Club, and “Popor” Sapsiree Taerattanachai, a Thai mixed doubles player ranked 7th in the world, have announced their withdrawal from the Japan Open 2024, a World Tour Super 750 tournament from August 20-25 in Japan, due to their physical condition not being fully developed. The Thai badminton team, who completed their mission at the 2024 Olympic Games and returned to Thailand, had to participate in activities with the government and private sectors throughout the past week, causing their physical condition not to be fully fit and they need to train to get their bodies ready for the next tournament.
