Trang: Villagers in Ban Tung Na, Nam Phut Subdistrict, Mueang District, Trang Province, were left in fear after encountering a large king cobra, prompting them to call in rescue workers for assistance.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Khajornkiat Kongkaew, also known as ‘Nong Mew Bong La Trang,’ a member of the ‘Bang Ya Bong La King’ network, responded to the villagers’ distress call. The large king cobra was discovered hiding under a pile of wood next to a house, causing significant alarm among the homeowner and neighbors.

The ordeal began when villagers heard an unusual noise and found the king cobra chasing another cobra. In their attempt to intervene, the villagers managed to kill the cobra being chased, but the king cobra used its speed to escape into a pile of wood, prompting the homeowner to seek help from rescue workers.

Mr. Khajornkiat, utilizing his skills and experience, successfully extracted the snake by pulling its tail with his bare hands. The king cobra, measuring approximately 3.4 meters in length, displayed a fierce temperament and continuously attempted to strike. Nonetheless, Mr. Khajornkiat managed to capture it swiftly, much to the relief of the concerned villagers.
