‘Worachai’ suggests ‘Pol. Gen. Sereepisuth’ should give the government time to work and prove its performance before criticizing.
Mr. Worachai Hema, former MP for Samut Prakan for the Pheu Thai Party, spoke about the case of Pol. Gen. Sereepisuth Temiyawes, leader of the Seri Ruam Thai Party, criticizing former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. He said that he personally respects Pol. Gen. Sereepisuth like a brother. On the day he was released from prison, Pol. Gen. Sereepisuth visited his house, which is something he must thank. However, what Pol. Gen. Sereepisuth is trying to say to attack former Prime Minister Thaksin is something that must be explained to the people. In fact, former Prime Minister Thaksin should not have been imprisoned even for a single day because everything that happened to former Prime Minister Thaksin was a matter of using the 2006 coup process to carry out the whole thing. It is clear what the perpetrators intended. And trying to link this matter to attack the government of Ms. P
aethongtarn Shinawatra is wrong and clearly different.
‘This government has Ms. Paethongtarn as Prime Minister, it has nothing to do with the former Prime Minister Thaksin, her father, who was born a long time ago. Furthermore, trying to make vague accusations of attempted influence is even more impossible. In this regard, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, has clearly stated that she accepted advice from former Prime Minister Thaksin because he is an experienced person in his work, but he cannot influence all decisions. And today, when Ms. Paethongtarn became Prime Minister, she has been well-received by the business sector and foreign investors, as can be seen from the stock market, which has continuously risen to its best in many years.
Therefore, Pol. Gen. Sereepisuth should change from trying to attack to suggesting and helping the country move forward. And it would be better to give the government time to work and prove its performance in solving the people’s problems first because today
the people are facing crises on all sides and the government is determined to solve the problems. It’s not like your party has only one vote and doesn’t get a position and is dissatisfied and criticizes before the government has even started working a single day,’ said Mr. Worachai.
