35 PTT Gas Stations in Cambodia Rebranded as PEACE Petroleum Cambodia

Phnom penh: 35 out of the 200 PTT gas stations in Cambodia have undergone a rebranding, now operating under the name "PEACE Petroleum Cambodia" (PPC). This significant change comes as part of a larger movement initiated by Tea Siem, the distributor of two PTT stations and the owner of PPC.

According to Thai News Agency, Tea Siem announced on Facebook that the rebranding was driven by the desire to move past previous difficulties, founding PEACE Petroleum Cambodia with public support and backing from other petroleum station owners. Tea revealed that the rebranded stations are also preparing to begin importing fuel from a major US company, signifying a strategic shift in their operations.

Tea Siem explained that the redesign and updates to the pump systems will take some time as they aim to fully represent the new brand image. He emphasized the need for a fresh start, highlighting the Cambodian people's desire to overcome past challenges and create a new path with pride.

The decision to rebrand is not mandatory for all stations, as the remaining stations are choosing whether or not to adopt the new identity independently. Tea Siem reiterated that these decisions are personal to each station owner and not directly linked to PEACE Petroleum Cambodia.

"The transformation of the entire station's layout and system will require time, preparation, and reconstruction to reflect a new identity of peace. We all want to create a new atmosphere, to forget the pain of the past, and to walk the path with Cambodian pride," stated Tea Siem.
