Jakarta The occupancy rate of houses with zero down payment (DP) facility has reached 95 percent, Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan informed on Saturday.

“In fact, the occupancy rate is 95 percent, and this is higher than apartments with 70 percent occupancy. We have a high demand for this (type of housing),” he said in a written statement here.

The government has played a role through its intervention in the form of the zero down payment facility to help the program run well, he added.

Meanwhile, head of the Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement Area Service, Sarjoko, said that registrations for housing with zero down payment facility are being carried out online through the Residential Housing Information System (Sirukim) application.
