A pimp was arrested for driving a sedan to transport women for prostitution. She had 11 children under her care.

Udon Thani police launched an undercover operation to buy and found 11 girls under their care. They claimed that they did not force or threaten the girls into selling services.

Pol. Col. Pattanawong Chanphon, Superintendent of Udon Thani City Police Station, announced the results of the arrest of Ms. Chutikan or Ms. Tukata, along with a video clip showing the arrest and the rescue of two 17-year-old girls who were victims of Ms. Tukata’s human trafficking.

This arrest was made after police received a tip from an informant that Ms. Chutikan or ‘Je Tukkata’ had opened an X application called ‘Girls who accept side jobs’, posted messages from girls selling sex services, and left a Line ID for them to contact her. They therefore planned for the informant to purchase services undercover. When the appointed time came, they found ‘Je Tukkata’ driving a white sedan into the parking lot of a hotel on Si Suk Road in Udon Thani Municipality to deliver Ms. A, aged 17, to a customer who was an informant.

Then, Ms. Tuk
kata drove the same sedan to pick up Ms. B, aged 17, at the parking lot of another hotel, approximately 3 kilometers away. The police then showed themselves to arrest her before taking her for questioning at the police station. Ms. Tukkata confessed to all charges, saying that she did it because she did not have money to pay for the sedan installments and for daily expenses, including having to find money to treat her depression.

The two 17-year-old girls are children whose families have broken up and have come to live with Ms. Tukkata at her house in order to earn money for daily expenses. In addition, there are 9 other girls aged 17-20 in her control, totaling 11 people. Ms. Tukkata claims that she did not force or threaten the children to sell their services, but in any case, it is still considered a violation of the human trafficking law.

After this, the police will work with multidisciplinary teams to investigate the two 17-year-old girls who were victims as witnesses in the case and provide assistance
and compensation according to legal procedures. They will also expand the investigation to seize assets from the suspects and will also expand the investigation to other networks that have committed similar acts in the area to eliminate them from society.
