Bangkok: AIS stands by Thais in the Thai-Cambodian border situation, sending relief bags, enhancing communication systems, and taking care of customers with full morale.
According to Thai News Agency, AIS continues to take care of customers and Thais in the Thai-Cambodian border situation by mobilizing the 'Warm-hearted Volunteers' team and bringing in the potential of the intelligent network to reinforce officers in the area to support both operations and affected people. Led by Ms. Kantima Leoleutyuttitham, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Business, AIS, mobilized AIS 'Warm-hearted Volunteers' employees to share their concerns, prepare essential items such as relief bags, drinking water, and blankets, and share their concerns through cooperation with the Royal Thai Army and the 2nd Army Area to deliver to those affected in the area. They also fully support the communication system for officers working in the border areas by expanding the network signal and monitoring the network 24 hours a day. They also collaborated with Thaicom to support the internet via satellite, as well as support the public sector network by expanding the signal in 5 evacuation centers in the affected provinces.
In addition, AIS also takes care of customers in the disaster areas, Cambodia and Thailand, extending the payment period for AIS monthly customers and AIS FIBRE3 customers, and extending the usage period for prepaid customers by temporarily closing AIS Shop and dealers in risk areas. However, customers can still make transactions and receive services by themselves via the myAIS app. We also send our concern to AIS customers roaming in Cambodia. They can contact for emergency assistance via the Royal Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Siem Reap for free, and contact the AIS Call Center for free 24 hours.
