Chaiyaphum: “Akkharasan Khiri” has reiterated that national sovereignty is non-negotiable, sending encouragement to the army. He paid tribute to the heroism of frontline soldiers, emphasizing their crucial role. As a Member of Parliament (MP), he expressed his readiness to support the military both within and outside Parliament.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Akkhasan Khiri Lohwira, who represents Chaiyaphum District 7 and serves as the spokesman for the Kla Tham Party, commented on the ongoing situation at the Thai-Cambodian border. In his role as an Isaan MP, he stated that his primary message is to support the army and military, encouraging them to do their utmost. He assured that he stands ready to provide necessary support through parliamentary and other means, to help the country navigate this challenging period together.

Mr. Akarasan Khiri highlighted the obstacles faced during the ceasefire negotiations earlier in the day. He stressed that despite these challenges, a return to negotiations is imperative, as national sovereignty cannot be compromised. He emphasized the importance of minimizing losses among both the civilian population and soldiers on the front lines. Notably, Chaiyaphum Province has seen an influx of residents returning from the four border provinces, and he assured that measures will be taken to care for them until normalcy is restored.

“In this situation, as a member of parliament representing the people, I would like to offer my support to our brave soldiers on the front lines, who remain vigilant at the front lines. I would also like to pay tribute to the bravery of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect our country and national sovereignty, refusing to be invaded. I pay my respects,” Mr. Akkharasan Khiri stated.
