Anutin Charnvirakul Appointed as Thailand’s 32nd Prime Minister

Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul has officially received the royal command to become Thailand’s 32nd Prime Minister, vowing to perform his duties with honesty, integrity, and morality. Allied parties joined in congratulating him on this significant appointment.

According to Thai News Agency, the announcement was made at the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, where Police Lieutenant Colonel Aphat Sukhanan, Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, delivered the royal command. The event took place on the 4th floor of the headquarters, marking a pivotal moment in Thailand’s political landscape.

The Secretary-General read the official Royal Command, stating that His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun appointed Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul as Prime Minister after the position of the previous Prime Minister, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, ended as per constitutional regulations. The House of Representatives voted in favor of Mr. Anutin’s appointment with a majority, leading to his official endorsement by the King.

Following the reading of the Royal Command, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul expressed his gratitude and commitment to serving the nation. He acknowledged the honor bestowed upon him and pledged to fulfill his responsibilities for the prosperity and well-being of the Thai people, aligning with the aspirations of the Constitution.
