Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul has announced that the cabinet is complete and ready to commence work immediately following the oath of office. However, the position of Minister of Defense currently remains unassigned, with further details expected to be disclosed at an appropriate time.

According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister-elect and Bhumjaithai Party leader clarified the expedited completion of the cabinet reshuffle. He assured that the allocation process was fully transparent and emphasized the urgency for all members to start their duties immediately post-oath.

Anutin addressed the vacancy of the Defense Minister role, clarifying that the Prime Minister position still awaits royal approval. He stressed that there is no secrecy involved and promised that public disclosure would occur without delay once appropriate. Anutin highlighted the administration’s dedication to transparency, ensuring that all decisions would be made openly, allowing public input and scrutiny.

Additionally, Anutin emphasized the necessity for all ministers to adhere to legal and ethical standards. He underscored the importance of dedication, expertise, and professionalism across various sectors, including military and civilian roles, ensuring a competent and lawful government.
