Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, has made it clear that the party is not involved in the selection of judges for the Constitutional Court. He urged the public to refrain from creating speculative narratives and to minimize unfounded conjecture regarding the party’s role in this matter.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin emphasized that the selection process for Constitutional Court judges is independent of the Bhumjaithai Party. He addressed recent discussions focusing on individuals selected for these positions, particularly highlighting those with experience such as the former Director-General of the Department of Highways during Saksayam Chidchob’s tenure as Minister of Transport.
Anutin further reiterated that if a hypothetical “Anything is me” shirt were marketed, it would likely be a popular item, reflecting the humorous side of public speculation about his involvement. He stressed the importance of reducing imaginative narratives to avoid misleading rhetoric and confirmed once again that the Bhumjaithai Party has no connection to the selection process of Constitutional Court judges.
