Reporters reported on political movements over the past weekend in Khao Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra spent the weekend relaxing with the Shinawatra family.
On the evening of July 19, Mr. Thaksin, along with Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, leader of the Pheu Thai Party, Mr. Prasert Chantarawongthong, Minister of Digital Economy and Society, Ms. Sudawan Wangsupakitchkosol, Minister of Culture, Mr. Patchara Chantarawongthong, MP for Nakhon Ratchasima, Pheu Thai Party, as well as Mr. Suwat Liptapanlop, former Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Chart Pattana Party, and Mr. Sompong Amornvivat, core leader of the Pheu Thai Party, traveled to have dinner with Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, at Rancho Charnvee Resort and Country Club, Khao Yai, a luxury resort owned by Mr. Anutin.
On
the morning of July 20, 2014, Mr. Thaksin also came to play golf with Mr. Anutin and Mr. Sarath Ratanavadi, Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited, a major power producer in Thailand, also joined. The atmosphere was cheerful.
