Army Area 1 Confirms Readiness for Mission to Protect Thai Sovereignty

Bangkok: The 1st Army Area Command confirmed its readiness for the mission to protect Thailand’s sovereignty, prioritizing tactical success and public safety. It insisted on taking decisive action during times of advantage.

According to Thai News Agency, reporters stated that the First Army Region issued a press release clarifying its mission to protect sovereignty in the Thai-Cambodian border area in Sa Kaeo Province. Over the past period, the Burapha Task Force and military units in the area have been fully engaged in their duties, working with all sectors to prepare for all aspects of operations and to cope with any potential situation.

The First Army Area will take decisive action against areas where Thai sovereignty has been infringed upon at an advantageous time, taking into account the tactical success of the operational units and the safety of the people along the border as the top priority, as well as minimizing losses or impacts on the performance of duties of Thai officials from the mobilization of large numbers of people from the opposing side, which could lead to worse incidents.

The First Army Region assured the public of its preparedness to operate at any time, standing firm in its duty to protect national sovereignty to the best of its ability in every possible way, protecting and preserving Thai land with righteousness and lawfulness. The First Army Region pledged to stand by and assist the public to overcome this crisis to the best of its ability.
