Bangchak Green Miles Members Sustain Long-Standing Donation Tradition

Bangkok: Bangchak and its Green Miles members have upheld their tradition of community support by donating to public welfare organizations for the 19th consecutive year, embodying their commitment to fostering a sustainable Thai society.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Chief Executive Officer of Bangchak Group and President of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, along with other executives, represented Bangchak Green Miles members during the donation. The initiative involves members donating points they earn from refueling and purchasing products within the Bangchak Group, which are then supplemented by Bangchak’s own contribution. This year, they collectively donated 3,600,000 baht to 19 public benefit organizations. The ongoing effort focuses on supporting various societal needs, including the underprivileged, children, the disabled, the elderly, the sick, animals, and environmental causes, aligning with Bangchak’s Greenovative Destination concept.

Bangchak offers a platform through which members can easily donate their points to these organizations via the ‘Basket of Merit’ feature on the Bangchak app or through their website, www.bcpgreenmiles.com. This user-friendly approach allows members to make donations conveniently on a per-donation basis, ensuring that their contributions reach those in need efficiently.

Currently, 19 organizations benefit from these donations, including the Phramongkutklao Hospital Foundation, the Princess Mother’s Volunteer Doctors Foundation (Por. Sor. Wor.), the Ramathibodi Foundation, the Thai Red Cross Society, the Princess Mother’s Prostheses Foundation, among others. These contributions continue to enhance the capabilities of these organizations to serve their respective causes, thus contributing to the overall well-being and sustainability of Thai society.
