Bangkok Launches Night-Long Krathong Collection Initiative Aiming for 0% Foam Krathongs.

Bangkok: Bangkok goes to collect Krathongs before disposing of them properly. Bangkok organizes a night-long Krathong collection before sorting and disposing of them properly, with a goal of 0% foam Krathong floating next year. Throughout the night, the BMA collected Krathongs from the Chao Phraya River from Rama VIII Bridge to Rama IX Bridge. They will be transported to the mouth of Ong Ang Canal in Phra Nakhon District and the Ministry of Commerce’s warehouse in Rat Burana District before being separated into Krathongs made from natural materials, ground and sent to an organic fertilizer factory in Nong Khaem. Krathongs made from other materials, such as foam, will be buried. The goal is to float 0 percent foam Krathongs next year.

According to Thai News Agency, the Bangkok executive revealed from the visit last night that a large number of people participated in the digital Loi Krathong. As for the online Loi Krathong, at 9:00 p.m., more than 20,000 krathongs participated in the activity. It is expected t
