Bangkok Residents Introduce New Initiative to Minimize Landfill Waste

Bangkok: ‘Separate, Exchange, Turn x No Dumping’ is a new option for Bangkok residents to reduce landfill waste. Four public and private organizations are joining forces to promote waste separation at the source in the “Separate, Exchange, Turn x No Mixing” project, aiming to reduce landfill waste.

According to Thai News Agency, this initiative focuses on encouraging residents to actively participate in waste management by separating their waste before disposal. The approach seeks to minimize the amount of waste that ends up in landfills, thereby contributing to a more sustainable environment.

The collaboration between these organizations highlights the importance of community involvement in effective waste management. By providing residents with the tools and knowledge to separate waste, the project envisions a significant reduction in landfill contributions.
