BCPG Achieves Carbon Neutrality for Third Consecutive Year

Bangkok: BCPG and its group companies have once again reached a significant environmental milestone by achieving carbon neutrality for the third consecutive year.

According to Thai News Agency, BCPG Public Company Limited, along with its subsidiary Asialink Terminal Company Limited, has not only met but surpassed its carbon neutrality goals, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Ms. Somying Panyajittha, Director of Corporate Strategy at BCPG, and Mr. Seri Naowattanapaiboon, General Manager of Asialink Terminal, were honored with the “Carbon Neutral Mark, Organization Category” certificate. This recognition was awarded by Mr. Nakorn Trankwirapat, Director of the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization, during a ceremony dedicated to carbon label certification.

In 2024, BCPG successfully offset 2,697 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2) of greenhouse gas emissions, continuing its carbon neutrality streak for the third year running. Asialink Terminal, on the other hand, offset 881 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2) emissions, achieving its initial carbon neutral certification this year.

BCPG’s ongoing efforts underscore its leadership in the Thai clean energy sector, marked by a strong sense of environmental and social responsibility. The company remains committed to reaching carbon neutrality across all areas of its operations worldwide by 2030.
