Khon kaen: Beyond Food Expo 2025 opens the stage for "Food of the Future" to promote Khon Kaen as the center of the Mekong River Basin food industry. At KICE, Khon Kaen, Mr. Sarump Hom Sung Noen, Commercial Officer of Khon Kaen Province, presided over the opening ceremony of Beyond Food Expo 2025 under the theme "Beyond Food, Beyond Experience - Opening the World of Food to Experiences of the Future" under the management of C.P. Land Public Company Limited for the third consecutive year. Government agencies, the private sector in Khon Kaen Province, and entrepreneurs from across the country attended the event to serve as a key force in driving regional strategies and promoting Khon Kaen Province and the Northeastern region to become a full-fledged food industry hub for the Mekong Basin and ASEAN.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Sarump Homsongnern, Khon Kaen Provincial Commerce Officer, who presided over the opening ceremony, stated, "The Beyond Food Expo reflects Khon Kaen Province's potential as a hub for food economy and innovation in the Mekong Basin. The government is ready to support entrepreneurs at all levels in using this platform to enhance their competitiveness, expand trade opportunities, and extend their knowledge to the international market."

Mr. Pramud Poolsombat, Director of Office Business and Convention Center Business, C.P. Land Public Company Limited, stated, "Beyond Food Expo 2025 marks another important step for KICE as a full-scale trade exhibition organizer, particularly in the food and beverage industry, which is a key driver of the regional economy. This event is not just a trade forum, but also a platform of opportunity for local entrepreneurs, community enterprises, SIMEs, and entrepreneurs from both domestic and international markets, including China, Laos, Vietnam, and Myanmar, to meet, negotiate business, and foster tangible cooperation."

The event also aligns with global food industry trends, particularly in Thailand, which is entering an era of major change, particularly in the area of technological advancement in production, sustainability, and responsiveness to changing consumer demands. These trends are fully presented concretely at Beyond Food Expo 2025. Attendees will experience future food trends, including end-to-end sustainability, personalized food informed by health and genetics, and the elevating of local ingredients to the international stage.

This year's event is being supported by collaborations from both the public and private sectors, as well as local and international partner networks. Over 5,000 visitors are expected and over 100 million baht in business transactions are expected. This is a testament to the power of collaboration that drives sustainable regional economies and a significant step towards Thailand using "food" as a soft power to strengthen the industry and propel Thai cuisine onto the global stage with stability and elegance.
