Bhumjaithai Party Headquarters Remain Quiet Amidst Government Formation Discussions

Bangkok: The Bhumjaithai Party office was quiet, with no core leaders joining the party after Anutin held discussions with the Prachachon Party yesterday and held a statement with government formation partners.

According to Thai News Agency, reporters reported that no core leaders of the Bhumjaithai Party have arrived at the party headquarters today. This follows yesterday’s visit by party leader Anutin Charnvirakul to discuss matters with the Prachachon Party. He later announced that the party is gathering votes to form a government. Anutin reiterated his readiness to become prime minister once his name was listed as a candidate in 2019.

At today’s special cabinet meeting, Pheu Thai Party leaders confirmed they were also in discussions with the Prachachon Party, confident they will garner enough votes to form a new government.
