Bangkok: “Bhumtham” has made a significant vow that if “Anutin” is elected as Prime Minister, the contentious Khao Kradong case will be permanently resolved.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai, acting on behalf of the Prime Minister, addressed the media following inquiries about the State Railway of Thailand’s request to the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) to delay filing charges related to the Khao Kradong case. He emphasized that the case holds less importance compared to the election.
When questioned about the potential implications of a change in government, Mr. Bhumtham assured that if Anutin Charnvirakul were elected, the case would cease to exist. He further confirmed that Khao Kradong would not be reinstated as government property under the new administration.
Mr. Phumtham’s visit to Government House was notably brief, lasting only 45 minutes before his departure. Reports indicate that Mr. Phumtham arrived at 1:00 PM and left by 1:45 PM, subsequently heading to the Pheu Thai Party.
