Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, acting on behalf of the Prime Minister, Phumtham Wechayachai, addressed rumors that former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra would meet with Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, chairman of the Progressive Movement. He stated that he did not make the remarks and was unaware of the matter, emphasizing that they were all working together. He reiterated that he had already spoken with the Pheu Thai Party about plans to meet with the Prachachon Party. Regarding the official talks, he stated that they would be held on the day of the announcement and parliamentary session. He emphasized that all parties were still in discussions.

According to Thai News Agency, as for whether the Pheu Thai Party’s negotiation team will travel to the Conrad Hotel, where the internal Prachachon Party event is being held today, Mr. Phumtham said he did not know where the news came from.
