Binh Dinh Province Seeks to Enhance Investment Cooperation with International Partners

Binh Dinh: In an effort to boost international investment, the provincial People’s Committee of Binh Dinh, a south central province of Vietnam, hosted a conference on November 11 with heads of foreign diplomatic missions and organizations in Vietnam. The event aimed to foster exchanges, connectivity, and to showcase the locality’s potential, advantages, and development plans. According to statements from the event, provincial leaders are keen on attracting foreign investment and support.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Ho Quoc Dung, emphasized Binh Dinh’s commitment to offering favorable conditions for foreign agencies, businesses, organizations, and individuals to operate within the province. Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Pham Anh Tuan, highlighted that the province is particularly interested in investors with modern, environmentally friendly technologies and competitive products. Priority sectors for investment include agro-forestry-fishery, industrial and logistics services, tourism, and urban economy.

Dato Tan Yang Thai, the Malaysian Ambassador to Vietnam, acknowledged the significant potential and opportunities in Vietnam and expressed Malaysia’s intention to strengthen trade and investment cooperation with Vietnam. Thai Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Wiraka Moodhitaporn, stated Thailand’s readiness to work closely with international partners, including Vietnam, to promote sustainable development. On this occasion, Binh Dinh province also signed an international cooperation agreement with the Korea Land and Housing Corporation, marking a step towards enhanced international investment and collaboration.
