Bangkok: BMA Feeder has introduced a new service route connecting the Bangkok Children’s Museum in Chatuchak and BTS Mo Chit, offering free travel options for residents. The launch event was attended by Mr. Sanon Wangsangboon, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, who participated in the route’s opening and testing ceremony at the Children’s Museum.
According to Thai News Agency, the new BMA Feeder route provides access to both the Green and Blue Lines and connects to more than 30 bus lines. Key stops include the Children’s Museum (Chatuchak), BTS Mo Chit, opposite Thanachart Bank Headquarters, Wachirabenthat Sports Center, and the Bangkok Butterfly and Insectarium. The S-OASIS building has partnered with the service to offer free parking for those using the BMA Feeder.
The service operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, running from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with buses arriving every 30 minutes. Following a successful trial run, Deputy Governor Sanon encouraged Bangkok residents to use this route, highlighting its suitability for family outings due to its proximity to popular attractions. Feedback from passengers will be collected to enhance the service.
The BMA Feeder currently operates seven routes, featuring both existing and newly added lines. The routes include Wat Purnavas to opposite Saphan Phut, Talat Thonburi to MRT Lak Song, Din Daeng to BTS Sanam Pao, MRT Bang Khun Non to Taling Chan Floating Market, Samsen Road to Thonburi, Kheha Romklao Community to ARL Lat Krabang, and the newly launched Children’s Museum to BTS Mo Chit. Bus locations across these routes can be tracked in real-time using the Namtang and Viabus applications.
