According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Col. Pongpichan Chayanonphiriya, Superintendent of Chang Klang Police Station, has been actively questioning witnesses to gain further insight into the incident. It was revealed that the suspect had previously worked as a rubber tapper for the victim. During his tenure, latex was reportedly stolen on multiple occasions, leading to suspicion from the deceased that Mr. Chaiwat was the culprit. The victim allegedly shared her suspicions with other villagers, which angered the suspect and led to an escalation in their conflict.
