HANOI — From December 2-7, the Mekong Delta provinces of Soc Trang and Dong Thap will become the stage for Cambodia Culture Week in Vietnam 2023, as per the announcement from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on November 3.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the cultural event aims to deepen the Vietnamese public’s understanding of Cambodia’s heritage and society. It is anticipated that the activities slated for the week will further bolster the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the communities of the two neighboring nations.

Vietnam and Cambodia are linked by longstanding ties of solidarity, friendship, and cooperative neighborliness. In recent years, the bilateral relations between the two have advanced, yielding substantial benefits for their peoples.

The organization of Cambodia Culture Week in Vietnam stands as a pivotal endeavor in actualizing the commitments made by the leadership of both nations and is a part of the broader cultural cooperation plan agreed upon by Vietnam and Cambodia.
