The Thailand Women’s National Football Team faced Vietnam in a match filled with scoring opportunities, but neither team was able to capitalize effectively.

During the game, Vietnam took the lead in the 36th minute. The play began on the right wing, culminating in a cross to Tran Thi Thu Tao, who scored the decisive goal. This gave the home team a 1-0 advantage.

In the second half, Thailand intensified their attacks but struggled to break through Vietnam’s defense. Vietnam maintained their lead, concluding the match with a 1-0 victory. This result secured Vietnam the top spot in Group A with three consecutive wins, while Thailand advanced as the group’s runners-up with two victories and six points. The Thai national team will face the champions of Group B in the semi-finals on Saturday, August 16.
