Chaba Kaew U19 Triumphs Over Myanmar 5-1, Secures Spot in AFF U19 Final Round

Bangkok: Chaba Kaew U19, the Thailand national women’s football team, delivered a commanding performance against Myanmar, securing a 5-1 victory in the AFF U19 2025 semi-finals. This win propels Thailand into the final round, where they aim to defend their ASEAN Football Championship U19 title.

According to Thai News Agency, Thailand entered the match as champions of Group B, while Myanmar advanced as runners-up of Group A. Under the guidance of head coach “Coach Nueng” Nuengrutai Sathongvian, Thailand fielded their main players, including captain Rinyaphat Moondong and attackers Natchanok Kosolsaksakul, Rasita Thaobao, and Kulisara Limpawanic.

The match began with an early goal in the 12th minute by Rasita Thaobao, assisted by Manita Noiwet. Thailand’s lead extended to 2-0 in the 18th minute when Rinnaphat Moondong set up Natchanok Kosolsaksakul for a right-footed shot. By the 34th minute, Kulisara Limpawanich increased the lead to 3-0 with a left-footed strike.

A penalty awarded to Thailand in the 43rd minute allowed Natchanok Kosolsaksakul to score his second goal, ending the first half at 4-0. In the second half, Kulisara Limpawanich added another goal in the 69th minute, bringing the score to 5-0. Myanmar managed to score their only goal in the 89th minute through Su Su Khin.

Thailand’s victory sets them up for the final round of the 2025 AFF Women’s Championship U19. They will compete against the winner between Vietnam and Indonesia at Thong Nhat Stadium on June 18, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.
