Bangkok: Chaiyachanok Chidchob, Secretary-General of the Bhumjaithai Party, has expressed skepticism over the potential dissolution of parliament, amidst discussions and rumors suggesting such a move by the Pheu Thai Party.
According to Thai News Agency, Chaiyachanok stated his belief that dissolving parliament is unlikely, despite the circulating rumors. He highlighted the importance of considering public interests in any political decision. Chaiyachanok emphasized the significance of waiting to see the developments, while also expressing his willingness to accept whatever decision is made.
He pointed out the existing challenges, notably the ongoing flooding crisis, as a major concern that should take precedence. Chaiyachanok criticized the government’s management during these elections, suggesting it was not well-handled, particularly during the flood situation. He acknowledged the possibility of parliament dissolution but questioned its feasibility amidst the current threats and concerns affecting various provinces.
