Bangkok: CK Power Public Company Limited (CKPower) has been honored with a Bronze award in the category of companies demonstrating excellent management at the Asia's Best Companies Poll 2025. The event, organized by FinanceAsia magazine in Hong Kong, evaluates firms based on factors such as transparency in investor communications, sustainable growth, adaptability, and business stability.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Thanawat Trivisvavet, Managing Director of CK Power Public Company Limited, expressed that the award is a testament to CKPower's effective business management. The company has focused on transparency and adherence to good governance principles, ensuring stability amidst economic challenges. This achievement is driven by the 'CKP' sustainability strategy, which includes goals like using 100% renewable energy by 2043 and achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050. The strategy emphasizes clean electricity, ethical business practices, and fostering sustainable partnerships.

CKPower's future plans include increasing renewable energy production, specifically through hydropower and solar power. The company aims to expand its solar power projects and potential government collaborations for additional renewable energy plants, alongside selling Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). A joint solar power project with Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) is set to commence commercial electricity sales in the second quarter of 2025. Additionally, the Luang Prabang hydropower project is on track for a 2030 operational start. CKPower is committed to contributing to Thailand's transition towards a sustainable low-carbon society.
