Bangkok: The court approved an arrest warrant for ‘Kritsanong’ on two charges of ‘extortion and acting as a middleman in a bribery case’ after police submitted the case file to the Criminal Court for Corruption Cases to request an arrest warrant at noon. They are preparing to request search warrants for two residences in Bangkok and Pathum Thani.

According to Thai News Agency, progress in the case of Ms. Krisanong in extorting money from the accused in the case of The Icon Group Company was reported. Earlier today, investigators requested the Central Criminal Court for Corruption and Misconduct to issue an arrest warrant, which was granted at noon.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Suwat Saengnum, deputy commander of the Central Investigation Bureau, revealed that investigators questioned Mr. Waratphon for the third time at the Bangkok Special Prison yesterday to gain more clarity on the details. The focus was on the circumstances involving Ms. Krisanong, who faces charges of extortion and acting as a middleman to solicit a br

In addition to the arrest warrant from the Corruption Court, another group of investigators from Division 2 of the Crime Suppression Division traveled to the Ratchada Criminal Court to request a search warrant for Ms. Krisanong’s residences in Bangkok and Pathum Thani Province. This is in preparation for conducting searches and bringing her in for further legal action.
