Bangkok: The legal system has taken a firm stance on road rage incidents, as evidenced by a recent court ruling involving a Tesla vehicle. The court ordered the driver of a Tesla car, who was captured on video cutting off another driver on an expressway, to serve a one-month prison sentence, which has been suspended for one year. In a move highlighting the severity of the offense, the court also mandated the confiscation of the Tesla, valued at nearly 2 million.

According to Thai News Agency, the driver has publicly apologized to the affected party, expressing remorse for the incident. Meanwhile, the prosecutor emphasized that the current law permits the confiscation of vehicles involved in such offenses. The prosecutor further urged drivers to prioritize rational thinking over emotional reactions when on the road, underscoring the importance of safety and restraint to prevent similar occurrences.
