Bangkok: Court grants bail to ex-husband Aem Saiyanide and lawyer Patch, 100,000 baht each, during appeal of case. Reporters reported that after the Criminal Court had issued a verdict in the case of Am Cyanide poisoning Ms. Siriporn Khanwong or Koi by sentencing Ms. Sararat or Am Cyanide, the first defendant, to death and sentencing Pol. Lt. Col. Witun or Am Cyanide’s ex-husband, the second defendant, to a total of 1 year and 4 months in prison and sentencing Ms. Thanicha or Lawyer Patch, the third defendant, to a total of 2 years without probation.

According to Thai News Agency, later, the lawyers of Pol. Lt. Col. Witthayu and Ms. Thanicha filed a petition with bail for temporary release during the appeal. The court considered the petition and ordered bail for both of them, setting bail at 100,000 baht each.
