Bangkok: ‘Culture Minister’ discusses Cash Rebate measures to support Thai filmmakers and music producers. Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, has been actively engaging with the private sector to advocate for Cash Rebate measures aimed at assisting Thai filmmakers and music producers. These measures are seen as a vital step in enhancing and creating quality works while promoting Thai culture globally.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Shinawatra took to social media to share insights from her meeting with key figures such as Mr. Prasop Riengngen, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, and Ms. Yuthika Isarangkun Na Ayudhya, Director-General of the Department of Cultural Promotion. The discussions centered on promoting Thai films and music by providing financial support through Cash Rebates, which Ms. Shinawatra emphasized as an urgent priority for film and music entrepreneurs in Thailand.

Currently, Thailand offers Cash Rebate incentives of up to 30% for foreign fi
