Dak Lak farmers make good profits from early-ripe lychees

Farmers in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak began lychee harvest, which is 1 month earlier than the crop in the northern provinces. Hence, Dak Lak’s farmers earn good profits thank to their advantages in product consumption. This year, the prices of lychee are between 45,000-65,000 VND/kg, nearly doubled as compared to the last crop’s figures. Dak Lak province currently has about over 3,000 hectares for lychee growing, of which over 1,680 hectares are ready for harvest with an expected total output of over 17,300 tonnes.
