Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha attended the ground-breaking ceremony of a Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) in the central province of Ha Tinh on June 25. The first phase of the Ha Tinh VSIP project covers 190.41 hectares in Thach Ha district, and has a total investment of 1.55 trillion VND (60.8 million USD). There are currently 18 VSIPs across Vietnam, with a total area of 11,588 hectares. Operating VSIPs have attracted 930 customers from 30 countries and territories, with a combined investment capital of 21 billion USD, and created over 300,000 jobs.
