Pathum thani: A drug-fueled young man, identified as Mr. Phonchai or Yok, was apprehended by the Thanyaburi Police Station in Pathum Thani Province after he allegedly set his house and car on fire. The incident took place in Bueng Sanan Subdistrict, Thanyaburi District, where the authorities responded to the scene with the assistance of rescue workers and fire trucks from the Sanan Rak Municipality to extinguish the blaze.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Phonchai, aged 41, fled the scene on a motorcycle after the initial arson. In an unusual turn of events, he returned early the following morning and attempted to set fire to the house once more. This prompted a swift response from the investigative police at Thanyaburi Police Station, who arrested him and brought him in for further questioning.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Mr. Phonchai has a history of arrests by the Thanyaburi Police Station and has been involved in drug-related activities. The charges against him include arson of a residential building, burning another’s property, and drug use. Despite the evidence, Mr. Phonchai denies all the charges leveled against him.
