Bangkok: A young Myanmar man fatally stabbed two of his fellow countrymen and seriously injured another following a drinking session that spiraled into an argument. The suspect claimed he acted in self-defense after being attacked by the group.
According to Thai News Agency, police from Taling Chan Police Station responded to a stabbing incident at a worker’s residence located behind a granite shop on Borommaratchachonnani Road, Chim Phli Subdistrict, Taling Chan District. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of Mr. Cho Khai Len, 27, a Myanmar national, lying in a pool of blood on the second-floor staircase walkway. He had been stabbed in the torso. Further into the walkway, the body of Mr. Su P. Aw, also 27 and a Myanmar national, was found stabbed in the torso and lying face up. Additionally, Mr. Adam, 25, another Myanmar national, was found with a stab wound to his stomach and was transported by Ruamkatanyu Foundation rescue workers to Siriraj Hospital for treatment.

a Oo, 29, a Burmese national, was apprehended at the scene with a broken skull and a blood-stained pocket knife. He initially confessed to the stabbings, claiming he acted in self-defense after his coworkers attacked him.
Pol. Col. Montchai Arun Songsangdee, Superintendent of Taling Chan Police Station, stated that all individuals involved, including those injured and deceased, were Burmese workers employed at a stone-carrying factory. The incident reportedly occurred after the group had been drinking together and an argument ensued. Mr. Kae Tha Oo allegedly used a knife to attack the group, resulting in two deaths and one serious injury. Police patrol officers quickly responded to the report and managed to apprehend the suspect at the scene. Legal proceedings are underway, with Mr. Kae Tha Oo facing charges of murder and attempted murder.
