EGCO Group Commits to Anti-Corruption with Third CAC Membership Renewal


Bangkok: EGCO Group has received a certificate of renewal of membership of the Thai Private Sector Collective Action Against Corruption (CAC) for the third consecutive time, reinforcing its policy of conducting business under good corporate governance and strongly resisting corruption and bribery throughout the organization.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Salin Tirawat, Senior Vice President, Corporate Administration, EGCO Group, revealed that the company has operated its electricity and related energy businesses under principles of good corporate governance for over 33 years. These principles emphasize transparency, fairness, and freedom from corruption. In 2024, EGCO Group revised its anti-corruption policy to expand its scope of enforcement, aiming to encourage and support business partners, representatives, and intermediaries acting on behalf of EGCO Group to understand and comply with anti-corruption policies correctly. The company also emphasizes promoting, communicating, training, and continuously
organizing good governance activities for directors, executives, employees at all levels, and business partners.

EGCO Group received its first CAC membership certificate in 2015, which is valid for three years. The certificate was renewed for the first time in 2019, the second time in 2022, and now for the third time in 2025. Furthermore, EGCO Group has continuously promoted its associated companies to become CAC members, showcasing its ongoing commitment to combating corruption within the business sector.
