First logistics plane for Mandalika WSBK arrives at Lombok Airport

The airport manager confirmed that another logistics aircraft, bearing flight number KXP267, will depart from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and is scheduled to land at Lombok Airport on Wednesday (March 1, 2023) at 6:30 a.m. Central Indonesia Standard Time (WITA). “We are all ready to support the success of WSBK 2023 in Mandalika. The development of Lombok Airport had been completed in 2021 to support tourism activities at the Mandalika National Super Priority Destination (DSPN) as well as various international events held in NTB Province, he stated. The Lombok Airport’s apron has been expanded, from 108,100 square meters to 136,300 square meters, so it can currently accommodate 10 narrow-bodied aircraft and six wide-bodied planes or 18 narrow-bodied planes and two wide-bodied aircraft. Indrawan noted that the airport’s runway had also been extended, from 2,750 meters to 3,300 meters, so that it can serve the Boeing 777-class aircraft.
