Flash Floods Create Massive Crater in Phimai District Road

Nakhon ratchasima: Flash floods have severely impacted the Phimai District, as a road in Ban Chong Kho, Rang Ka Yai Subdistrict, has been eroded, resulting in a hole more than 2 meters deep. This incident has affected over 200 households, who now face challenges accessing the village due to the damaged road.

According to Thai News Agency, the flooding was triggered by hours of heavy rain in Huai Thalang District, leading to significant road erosion in Village No. 3, Rang Ka Yai Subdistrict, Phimai District. The resulting crater spans 200 meters in length, causing major disruptions for the local community. Efforts are underway by relevant agencies to assess the damage and begin restoration work once conditions allow.
