Bangkok: Free transportation services are now available to aid those impacted by the disaster along the Thai-Cambodian border, specifically targeting the provinces of Buriram, Surin, Sisaket, and Ubon Ratchathani. This initiative is part of a broader mission to assist the country’s efforts in relocating people and personnel, as directed by the Ministry of Transport.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Atthavit Rakjamroon, Managing Director of Transport Co., Ltd. (BorKorSor), announced the company’s involvement in easing the hardships caused by unrest at the Thai-Cambodian border. BorKorSor is facilitating the collection and delivery of essential goods such as drinking water, canned food, and medicine free of charge to support those affected.
The Transport Company will serve as an intermediary, collecting donated items and transporting them to bus stations in the specified provinces. From there, coordination with officials and related agencies will ensure that the donations reach evacuation centers for distribution to those in need.
Individuals wishing to contribute can deliver items to the Parcel Pick-up and Drop-off Center at the Bangkok Passenger Transport Station (Chatuchak) or Mochit 2 starting from July 27, 2025, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. For further details, interested parties can contact the Parcel Pick-up and Drop-off Center (Chatuchak) at Tel. 02-537-8480.
