Bangkok: The Government Housing Bank (GHB) is set to host its ‘5th Annual Online Secondhand Home Auction 2025’ this Friday, July 18, offering more than 1,000 properties at substantial discounts for interested buyers. The event, aimed at expanding housing options for Thai residents, will take place via the GHB ALL HOME application, featuring properties with discounts of up to 35%.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Wittaya Saenphakdee, Deputy Managing Director of the Debt Restructuring Group at GHB, announced that the auction will include 1,364 properties nationwide. The properties range from single and twin houses to townhouses, condominiums, commercial buildings, and vacant land. The auction will be conducted on the GHB ALL HOME application from 12:00 to 12:30 on July 18.
Highlighted properties in Bangkok and its surrounding areas include a 2-storey townhouse in the Forre Lam Luk Ka Klong 5 project, Pathum Thani Province, starting at 2,040,000 baht. The lowest starting price is a 5th-floor condominium in the Baan Ua-Athorn Wat Si Warin Noi 2 project, Samut Prakan Province, at just 346,000 baht. Regional properties include a 2-storey detached house in the Siwali project, Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai Province, with a starting price of 2,790,000 baht.
Buyers who win at the auction can benefit from a promotional loan for purchasing non-performing assets, with a low interest rate for up to 24 months. Additionally, if the transaction is completed by September 16, 2025, an extra 15% discount will be applied. Interested participants can view properties in person or online before the auction and must register and pay a deposit of 10,000 baht per item by July 16, 2025.
