Bangkok: The government has reiterated that taxpayers who submit specific tax forms will be eligible to receive the “Half-Half Plus” credit of 2,400 baht. This initiative aims to provide financial relief to eligible taxpayers.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Siripong Angkasakulkiat, spokesman for the Prime Minister’s Office, confirmed that individuals who submit their tax forms will qualify for this credit. The eligible categories include those who submit personal income tax returns for general income earners (Por.Ngor.Dor. 90), individuals who file a personal income tax return for income from employment under Section 40 (1) of the Revenue Code, type one (Por.Ngor.Dor. 91), and those eligible for a reduction in personal income tax rate (Por.Ngor.Dor. 95) for the tax year 2024.
The Revenue Department database, as of June 30, 2025, will serve as the reference for determining eligibility. This initiative is part of the government’s effort to support citizens through financial credits based on their tax submissions.
