Bangkok: The government has taken steps to ensure aid reaches those affected by the recent disaster along the Thai-Cambodian border through safe and official channels. Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, spokesman for the Prime Minister’s Office and the Committee of the Special Operations Center for the Administration of the Situation on the Thai-Cambodian Border (SOC-CMB), announced the establishment of a formal donation route via the Disaster Relief Fund of the Prime Minister’s Office.

According to Thai News Agency, this initiative aims to prevent fraudulent activities by recommending the Disaster Relief Fund as a secure means for individuals to contribute. The account, held with Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited at the Government House Branch, is specifically set up to channel aid effectively to those in need.
