Govt to collaborate for agrarian reforms, conflict resolution: KSP

Jakarta  Deputy II of Human Development at the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) Abetnego Tarigan has stated the government has consistently worked on agrarian reforms and resolve agrarian conflicts by collaborating with academicians and civil organizations.

“Conflict resolution requires collaboration between the government, civil organizations, and academicians. This collaboration is forged not only to solve cases but to also learn how to resolve them through various policies,” Tarigan noted in a press statement received here on Saturday.

Tarigan highlighted that thus far, KSP had received 1,0191 cases of agrarian conflict, out of which 137 were designated as priority cases to be solved this year.

Tarigan noted that one of the aspects that hindered the resolution of agrarian conflicts was sectoral ego amongst ministries or institutions.
