Baku: GPSC joins the global discussion table at COP29 to promote research and innovation and the energy industry from Thailand. Professor Dr. Supoj Teachavarasinskul, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), the innovation leader of the power business of PTT Group, participated in a discussion focused on ‘Innovation and Technology for Energy Transition’ under the theme ‘Powering the Future: Hydrogen energy and Thailand’s energy transition’.
According to Thai News Agency, experts from the research and innovation sector and the energy industry from Thailand gathered at the 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP29) in Baku, Azerbaijan. The discussions centered around the role of using innovation and various technologies to highlight the importance of developing potential in finding, producing, and utilizing renewable energy. Special emphasis was placed on hydrogen and ammonia as key components for
the energy transition.
The participation of GPSC in this global forum underscores the company’s commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions and promoting Thailand’s contribution to global energy innovation.
